Tongue Operated Switches (Connects to most Safety Relays)

IDEMs Tongue operated safety interlock switches fit to the leading edge of sliding, hinged or removablemachine guards. They provide positively operated switching contacts and a tamper resistant (not easilydefeatable) key mechanism. Inserting the actuator into the switch closes the safety contacts, enabling themachine start circuit and removing the actuator positively opens the safety contacts.They are available in two material types; robust polyester (IP67) or Stainless Steel 316 (IP69K), providingcomplete flexibility of choice depending upon the application. They offer a choice of actuators to aidinstallation and maintain durability.
